WGCQP Delegation Visits Islamic University in Kenya

On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, a delegation consisting of members of the Women’s Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine and representatives of the Global Coalition visited the Islamic University in Kenya. It was arranged by Dr. Nabila Ibrahim (Deputy Head of the Kenya Office and Family Pledge Officer).

At the beginning, Mr. Abdul Qader introduced the work of the pioneers in Kenya and informed the university administration about the projects of the Global Coalition and the WGCQP, which are the energy project, the Brotherhood project and the Family Pledge project. Mr. Fathi also spoke about the latest developments in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood and the role of the Ummah towards it. In turn, Dr. Muhammad Othman (Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University) said that the Kenyan people are aware and informed about what is happening in Gaza and pointed out that a member of the Kenyan Parliament had said that he hopes to see a day when Palestine is free.

He also pointed out that he sees it as important to start bringing mujahideen into Gaza in large numbers, and that they have already collected 3 million dollars through their private association abroad for Gaza, in addition to working with the Al-Rahma Charitable Foundation for Gaza, and that they are in the process of receiving 500 students from Palestine, particularly Gaza, in their university. In turn, Um Al-Hassan introduced the WGCQP, indicating that it is a worldwide network of women seeking to work and coordinate together for the Palestinian cause. She also asked Dr. Mohamed Othman and his team to support the colleagues working on this project so that they may be the first to work for the cause.

At the end of the meeting, the team headed to the main hall to give a speech to the attending female students about the Palestinian cause, its importance, and ways to work for it. Mr. Fathi Abdul Qader, Mr. Abdul Qader Hassan, Sana, and Um Al Hassan spoke, while Dr. Nabila introduced them to the family Pledge and how to work for Palestine with her.
