Delegation from the Women’s Institutions Coalition Visits the Headquarters of the World Forum for Thought and Culture in Türkiye

On Tuesday, October 15 2024, a delegation from the Women's Institutions Coalition and the Women's  Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine visited the headquarters of the World Forum for Thought and Culture in Istanbul. It comes as part of a series of visits and meetings aimed at enhancing coordination and cooperation between institutions operating in Türkiye.

During the meeting, the WGCQP, the Coalition of Scholars and Preachers, the Family Pledge and the Women's Institutions Coalition were introduced. There was also a discussion on the suffering of Palestinian women, particularly those in Gaza, as well as ways to raise awareness and advocate for them.

In a related context, Dr. Mona Sobhi, President of the World Forum for Thought and Culture, praised the coalition and its work, stressing on the importance of raising awareness and supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinians in all aspects.

For her part, Dr. Huda Ghania, President of the Women's Institutions Coalition in Türkiye, emphasized on the need for joint and conscious work to support the Palestinian cause.

At the end of the meeting, there was a discussion on the coalition's most prominent future projects. The goal was to open the door to coordination and cooperation between the two institutions within the framework of work under the umbrella of supporting the Palestinian cause.
