The Balkan Women’s Forum for Palestine held in Bosnia
On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the Global Women's Coalition for Quds and Palestine established a regional coalition in the Balkans with the participation of 7 countries (Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia).
The activities of the first day began with the official opening and welcoming of the guests. In a session for the GWCQP, Ms. Rabab Awad, the Secretary-General, introduced the coalition’s work and structures, the most important programs, events and central projects.
In this context, 24 institutions operating in the State of Bosnia were introduced. They presented their work and activities that serve the Palestinian cause.
On the second day of the forum, work on the Palestinian cause was presented in 7 participating countries.
Also, a symposium was held with the participation of Professor Safwat Halilović, Professor Amina Mustić, Professor Nihad Kresvljakovic.
The forum concluded with the establishment of regional work in the Balkans, with Professor Amina Asirik being selected as the official in charge. A working group was formed from the countries participating in the forum.
