Before applying for membership, please read the Terms of Membership according to the internal regulations for the Global Women’s Coalition for Quds and Palestine.
Terms of Membership for Institutions:
- The Institution must fill out the membership application form.
- The institution must be working for Palestinian women and children, or wish to do pro-Palestinian work within its’ programs.
- Membership fees for institutions in the General Assembly must be paid. The GWCQP and the institution will agree on the amount.
- The institution must be committed to the goals of the coalition.
Terms of Membership for Individuals:
- She must be experienced and capable in pro-Palestinan work.
- She must fill out the membership application form.
- She must abide by the goals of the coalition.
- Each member should pay a $200 membership fee.
Members’ Rights:
- The right to obtain basic information and data explaining the nature of the coalition’s activity and method of work.
- The right to elect members of the Presidential Council through their representatives in the General Assembly.
- The right to view the methods of balloting and voting within the General Assembly and to regulate them within the internal regulations of the GWCQP.
- The right to review the administrative report and achievement report of the GWCQP.
- The right to submit proposals and opinions on matters related to the GWCQP’s current activity and its future projects and programs.
- Representing the coalition and participating on its behalf in any local, national or international activity after being commissioned and assigned.
- The right to run for president after meeting the conditions.
Members’ Responsibilities:
- Committing to completing the assigned tasks and implementing programs and activities approved by the General Secretariat.
- Attending periodic meetings and actually contributing to the preparation of activity programmes.
- Providing practical proposals to implement the programs agreed upon and decided by the General Secretariat.
- Paying the annual membership fee during the first three months of each year.
- Continuously maintaining the cohesion of the coalition’s ranks, supporting its unity and choices, and strengthening its organization and activity.
Note: Those who do not wish to be members of the General Assembly are not obliged to abide by their responsibilities there or pay money. In this case, they will only be members of the General Conference.
