GWCQP Delegation Visits Bandung (Capital of West Java Province)

Dr. Sajida Abu Fares, Vice-President of the Women’s Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine and President of the Global Coalition of Muslim Women Scholars and Preachers for Quds and Palestine, Ms. Rabab Awad, Secretary-General of the GWCQP, and Dr. Badriya Al-Silawi, Coordinator of the Women's Global Coalition in the Asia Pacific region paid a visit to Bandung city, which is the capital of West Java province. This visit comes as part of the activities of their trip to Indonesia.

The Indonesian Women’s Coalition for Quds and Palestine, in cooperation with the Muslim Sisters Foundation (SALIMAH), West Java Branch, held the regional meeting to support the people of Palestine.

A Group of chiefs and female figures in West Java attended, as well as the wife of the former mayor of Bandung who acted as a supervisor of the Mrs. Siti Mantama Foundation. Nearly 500 participants attended the meeting.

In her speech, Dr. Sajda implored the audience to perform their various roles for the sake of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
