Ummah Project: Fasila

Ummah Project: Fasila

It is a competitive participatory program, launched by the Women's Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine at its seventh conference, “Pioneers of Al-Quds Create Its Victory,” where successful projects carried out by institutions in several countries will be presented. The winning project(s) will be chosen to be one of the central projects and to be the palm seedling (Fasila) that countries participate with.

Some of Fasila's projects:

First: The Good Noise Project (Baik Berisik) by Indonesia:

An online campaign launched at the initiative of Indonesian youths to liberate Palestine, Good Noise (Baik Berisik)

It is an online initiative launched by the 171 SMART Group in order to raise awareness on the Palestinian cause.

Second: The Palestine Volunteer Platform Project by Bahrain:

It is an online platform where volunteers initially register and obtain a volunteer number and volunteer hours are counted for them. Volunteers are rewarded according to their performance. The platform’s management posts advertisements for volunteer opportunities that contain a specific time, date, and specifications as needed to support the Palestinian cause. Volunteers then register for this opportunity according to their desire and ability.

Third: The play of Hakiman and friends in Al-Quds by Lebanon:

It is an awareness-raising and educational theatrical work launched by the Nusra Al-Aqsa Organization in Lebanon to spread awareness, focus on children in a simple and smooth way, and direct them towards holy work.

Fourth: "Drink your Coffee as if you were in Al-Aqsa" Project by Qatar:

It is a youth campaign that aims to:

  1. Invest in cafes and restaurants to spread awareness on the Palestinian cause and support it by designing and printing coffee cup holders with Palestine-related phrases and distributing them to customers with every order.

  1. Remind young people of the importance and necessity of highlighting their support and advocacy for the Palestinian cause in the media. They do this by photographing a cup of coffee or drinks bearing expressions of solidarity and publishing them on social media.
