Justice and Development Party Delegation Visits the headquarters of the Global Women’s Coalition for Quds and Palestine in Istanbul

Ms. Yildiz Kunal Suslu, deputy of the Justice and Development Party in Istanbul, visited the Global Women’s Coalition for Quds and Palestine, at its headquarters in Istanbul on Friday, July 19, 2024. She was accompanied by Ms. Sana Ostounir, head of the department at the General Directorate of Governorate Administration.

This visit was intended for networking and opening relations with the Turkish side in a way that serves the Palestinian cause.
During the meeting, Ms. Rabab Awad, Secretary-General of the GWCQP, introduced the coalition’s work and its most prominent projects, calling for support to adopt some projects that aid the people of Gaza. She also spoke about the reference document for the International Conference of Women Scholars and Preachers, which will be held on November 30 and December 1 this year. 
In a related context, Ms. Yildiz said that a global human rights conference will be organized in order to bring together activist around the world. 

She also stressed the adoption of a project to foster and care for lone survivors, provided that she is a member of the coalition in her capacity as a representative and responsible for the project in Turkey, which will provide psychological and material support to the children inside Gaza that the project is aimed at.
