A delegation from Malaysia Visits the WGCQP Headquarters in Istanbul

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, a delegation from Malaysia visited the Women's Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine at its headquarters in Istanbul, for the purpose of networking relations and cooperation between the two sides.

The meeting was opened by Ms. Rabab Awad, Secretary-General of the WGCQP, who introduced the coalition as well as its most prominent works and projects. The Al-Noor Foundation for Women and Children was discussed, and the Lone Survivor project was also presented to them as well as the stages in which it will be implemented.

Ms. Rosetta (Hidaya) also indicated that she had previously worked on a similar project for Syrian refugees, and they have expressed their readiness to help with this project once its implementation begins.

In a related context, the delegation said that they have a non-governmental organization called "We Care".  There was also a suggestion to establish a partnership with the Al-Noor Foundation.

At the end of the meeting, the idea of ​​twinning between the Islamic University in Gaza and other universities was discussed. They also indicated that they have volunteers ready to enter Gaza in order to help with the Lone Survivor Project.
