WGCQP Secretary-General Participates in the National Hands Group Conference in Mauritania

The Secretary-General of the Women’s Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine, Ms. Rabab Awad, participated in the conference of Mauritania's National Hands Group, which brought together men and women from various parties, transcending their political differences in order to unite around support for the Palestinian cause.

The meeting was marked by the presence of political actors from various leanings, stressing that the Palestinian cause is a common cause that transcends party and political differences. Ms. Rabab Awad delivered a speech in which she expressed her deep thanks to the National Hands Group for its continued support for Palestine, commending the spirit of national unity displayed by the participants.

She was also proud to be the first non-Mauritanian visitor invited to participate in this gathering, stressing that this reflects the depth of solidarity that the Mauritanian people hold towards Palestine, both as leadership and as people.

This conference serves as an example in how to unite for just causes. It also strengthens Mauritania's role as a key supporter of Palestine in international and regional forums.
