WGCQP Participates in Popular Women's Festival by the Nasaem Khair Association to Support Gaza

The delegation of the Women’s Global Coalition for the Advancement of Quds and Palestine participated in a popular women's festival organized by the Nasaem Khair Association of Mauritania. Attendees included Sheikh Al-Alemah Mohamed Al-Hassan Al-Dudu and Sheikhah Jameela, along with a large group of female participants.

The festival was marked by poignant words from coalition leaders. Ms. Rabab Awad, Secretary-General of the Coalition, delivered a speech on the importance of women's role in supporting the Palestinian cause, praising the spirit of solidarity shown by Mauritanian women towards Gaza and Palestine.

Ms. Samar Sabih, the liberated Palestinian prisoner, also spoke about the suffering and resilience of Palestinian female prisoners. Dr. Shaimaa Abu Shaaban, the mother of a martyred university student, gave a speech focusing on the role of Palestinian women in the face of the occupation and the strengthening of the resilience of Palestinian families.

The festival saw the promotion of the Camp Shelter Project in Gaza, an initiative aimed at providing shelter for families affected by the Israeli aggression. The project was met with a large amount of support and engagement from the attendees at the event.

The festival reflects the Nasaem Khair Association’s commitment to strengthening solidarity with Palestine, supporting the resilience of the people of Gaza, and highlights the role of women in leading humanitarian and community initiatives in support of just causes.
