WGCQP Participates in the "Gaza Market for Women of Ribat" in Support of Gaza

The Women’s Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine participated in the "Gaza Market for Rabat Women" event organized by the Ribat National Association for Palestine. Party delegations from the Maghreb States, Algeria, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, The Gambia and Palestine also attended the event.

The market, which is a popular solidarity initiative, witnessed an offer of various goods donated by the Mauritanian people, sold to support the Gaza Strip. The event featured an awareness-raising aspect, focusing on raising awareness about the suffering of Gazans as a result of the blockade and ongoing violations.

During the event, the WGCQP delegation commended the efforts of the Ribat National Assembly and the Mauritanian people in organizing this solidarity event. The members of the delegation also expressed appreciation for the youth initiatives shown during the event, which demonstrated Mauritanian youth's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and enhancing the resilience of the people of Gaza.

The participation of the WGCQP is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with grass-roots institutions and initiatives in support of Palestine and to highlight the important role of women and civil society in promoting the Palestinian cause.
